Tested & approved: Big & Bold mascara NYC

Honestly? I got this mascara because I loved the color of it, the neon pink was luring at me and it was a complete impulse buy (almost never happens normally…). And then the text said: up to 15 times more volume. 15 times? That’s a lot! So there & then I decided to spoil myself and test this mascara.

More volume? Definitely. But whoever came up with the ‘x 15’ should reassess his mathematical skills. Now, I don’t mind, in my opinion x15 would be too tick. Nobody likes eyelashes that tend to fall down because off the weight the mascara puts on them, right?

So, final conclusion: great value buy but the tag line is slightly exaggerated…

Wanted!

I love running. It clears your mind and gives you tons of energy. Now, it’s a proven fact that buying new shoes also give me tons of energy. So imagine the energy I would get from adding these fabulous mint green Nike’s to my sports attire.

I think I could run a marathon in these (yes, I am exaggerating, true, but 10 miles would feasible, I promise). In addition, I have a fabulous neon pink running short that would offer great combination prospects with the pastel shoes. Indeed, Right on trend, even when running…

Lucky Charms

My bracelet collection has been gradually growing over the past few months. But as for bracelets: one can never have quite enough. Same applies for shoes, handbags, earrings and scarfs by the way.

Today I spotted some new work of Isabelle Vermeersch jewelry (also mentionned here, way in the beginning of this blog) and well, these bracelets got catapulted to the top of my wishlist instantly!

So, Belgian summer hasn’t exactly arrived just yet, but I am determined not to let that small detail waste my summer. Dancing,running and kissing in the rain is the way forward this season. Who needs sunshine anyways?

Tested & Approved: Coral in Gold lipstick.

The perfect lipstick is hard to find (too harsh, too soft, more on teeth than on lips...) but I’ve found one that I’ll be clinging to all summer long. Rimmel’s Coral In Gold is pure summer perfection. The soft orange hue with a touch of gold matches bronzed skin perfectly and gives any look an instant glow. Tried it & loved it, now I'm going to work on that tan to accompany the lipstick.

In summers I have a slight obsession with all things lemon and I’m not just talking about clothes (although we are all well aware all shades of yellow from pastel to neon are very much in fashion these days…).
