Julia Restoin Roitfeld, daughter of former editor in chief of French vogue Carine Roitfeld and resource of all things fashion, has created a lingerie collection for luxury brand Kiki Montparnasse.Seems Julia – who is expecting her first baby- isn’t ready just yet to change her frivolous undies for unflattering pregnancy wear. The collections showcases vintage influences and romantic frills adding retro glamour to all day wear. Lingerie as it should be.
“I think it is really important for a woman to feel good about herself and buying lingerie that makes you feel good is a great way to start,” Julia told Elle.com. “Even if it’s just for yourself - even if no one else sees it - you know it, you feel it, and I believe it gives you that extra confidence.”
The advertising pictures look like they’ve come right of a fashion shoot that would fit perfectly in a high end magazine. A little Vogue touch there?
The collection goes on sale Wednesday, December 14th.
