Saturday's Catch: Vogue NL

On a gorgeous, sun-kissed day like today there’s absolutely no need to go out into the city shopping . Even spending time online shopping could be considered a crime (unless it’s wifi on a terrace, happening as we speak). All you need to do is relax and enjoy the sun, it's a national code when the first spring sun arrives.

However, you do need to make one little trip...because in stores now: the very first Dutch-Belgian Vogue. No need to introduce this style bible I presume? We now have our very own version. Well, basically it's mainly Dutch but let's conveniently ignore this seemingly irrelevant detail.

To really indulge we’re making fresh ice tea to go with it. Vogue reading needs to happen in style, n'est-ce pas? All you need is Twining’s fresh tea, loads of mint, liquid sugar and some lemon : all poured together, this makes one perfect drink. Oh how life can be perfect.

Happy Spring!

Spring is nature's way of saying: let's have a party! Damn right, let's have one, let's even make it a garden party and let's make it look like below pictures. Who's coming?

5.30pm Hairdresser

Today scheduled at 5.30pm: hairdresser’s appointment. First one in 5 months. I’ve been busy.

In my experience, it seems there is always a gap between what I would want my hair to look like and what it really looks like after a hairdresser's visit. This is rather to blame on poor genetics than on the undoubtedly highly qualified hairdresser. But for some reason I always keep hoping for a miracle (like me coming out of the hairdresser with Blake Lively hair). This is no else this time. Below some pictures of how I would like my hair to look tonight. It's what they call idle hope.

Finally, I have my very own Col Claudine. I’ve been a fan of the brand for a while now (Evidence? here and here) so it was about time I started wearing one.  I chose the Giallo from the new Spring Summer collection.
